Our Mission

We aspire to map accepting, affordable, and accessible places and spaces that offer sanctuary for youth.

Our
Vision

Everyone has a clear path to spaces and places of belonging.

Safe Space Mapping

What + Why

Our safe space mapping resource will provide a comprehensive directory of secure locations where youth can gather, learn, and grow together. We will connect users with resources to ensure their safety and well-being.

Research

Through active community outreach, we strive to find compelling safe spaces, ensuring that every young person has access to safe and welcoming locations around the Greater Cincinnati Area.

Safe Spaces Survey

Want to be included on the WanderRoots map? Our inaugural neighborhoods are Over-the-Rhine, Walnut Wills, and Downtown Cincinnati. We aim to venture into the Greater Cincinnati Area and beyond. If you think your space would be a good fit for our map, please fill out our survey.

Youth Survey

Are you youth resident of the Greater Cincinnati Area? Defining the characteristics that make a safe space is a complex process. We'd love to hear from you to build on our understanding of the sanctuaries that best serve young people's interests.
