About the event
The gates to the Water Lantern Festival open at 6:30pm. You can hang out, enjoy food trucks, listen to music and enjoy your time there until 9:00. There will be professional photographers ready to photograph this experience for you if you'd like. The photos will be free and ready to share. The event is designed to be safe and stress free, with a professional safety team, a secured launch area and ample parking space. From 9:30-10:30pm you design your lantern, taking the time to personalize it with a message or an intention. This is an opportunity to take the time to share meaningful moments with the people around you. At 10:30pm, you release your lantern in the water along with many other people and take in the beauty of thousands of lights reflecting in the water.
